For applying for C1, C2, or C5 driver's licenses, Subject 4 can be taken in a different location. Applying to take Subject 4 in a different location: To apply for taking Subject 4 in a different location, simply bring your ID card to the local vehicle management office at your current residence to complete the exam location change procedure. There is no need to return to the original exam location, nor is it necessary to submit additional documents such as residence permits or temporary residence permits. Additionally, the exam location can only be changed once, and all remaining subject exams as well as the license issuance must be completed in the new city after the change. After the exam location is changed, the results of the already passed subjects remain valid, and the candidate can schedule the remaining subject exams at the current residence. Once all subject exams are passed, the driver's license can be obtained in the current city of residence. Is it necessary to affiliate with a driving school for exams in a different location: If Subject 2 or Subject 3 has not yet been taken, generally, transferring to a different location requires affiliating with a driving school due to the current requirement for a certain number of training hours. If the required hours are not met, it will be impossible to schedule the exams. If only Subject 4 remains to be taken, generally, the vehicle management office will arrange for the exam to be taken at a designated testing center.
