Can Steering Wheel Heating Be Installed Later?

Steering wheel heating can be installed as an aftermarket modification, but most aftermarket parts are not original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components. Many aftermarket parts do not meet the OEM's electrical specifications, and such high-power electrical components can easily cause circuit failures. Additionally, the warranty for aftermarket parts is not as reliable as OEM. Therefore, unless you have trustworthy components and a reputable modification shop, it is safer to use OEM-installed heating components. The heating function is controlled via a button on the steering wheel (this button is usually located around the steering wheel or on the center console). This feature warms the steering wheel during cold seasons, ensuring the driver no longer feels discomfort from the cold when gripping the wheel.
