Individuals with a history of drunk driving can apply to be a DiDi driver as long as they hold a valid driver's license, have cleared any demerit points from traffic violations, and have no new demerit points in the current year. They can then register for DiDi ride-hailing services the following year. According to the "Interim Measures for the Management of Online Car-Hailing Services," the following conditions must be met: 1. Age: Male applicants must be between 22 and 60 years old, while female applicants must be between 22 and 50 years old. 2. Driving experience: For premium services, at least 3 years of driving experience is required. For standard services, at least 1 year of driving experience is required. 3. Vehicle class: The driver must hold a license for vehicle classes C2, C1, or above, and the registered vehicle (or assigned vehicle) must match the driver's license class. 4. Background checks: Applicants must pass a verification process for their ID card, driver's license, and vehicle registration certificate. They must also pass a criminal record screening; those who fail the screening will not be permitted to join.
