It is not allowed to drive right-hand drive vehicles in mainland China, except for Hong Kong and Macau vehicles that have been approved for entry according to regulations. All other cases are considered illegal because right-hand drive vehicles cannot pass vehicle inspection for registration. China follows the principle of right-hand traffic, with the steering wheel on the left side of the vehicle. This setup allows drivers to better gauge the distance from oncoming vehicles, reducing the risk of collisions. Additionally, it provides better visibility when overtaking. Relevant regulations: "Announcement by the Ministry of Public Security on the Management of Right-Hand Drive Vehicles" To ensure road traffic safety and combat smuggling and theft of motor vehicles, with the approval of the State Council, the following announcements regarding the management of right-hand drive vehicles (excluding those from Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions entering mainland China) are hereby issued: 1. From the date of this announcement, traffic management departments of public security authorities will not process registration for right-hand drive vehicles. 2. Owners of right-hand drive vehicles that have already been registered and have reached the scrapping standard must proactively complete scrapping procedures with the traffic management departments. These departments shall revoke the license plates and registration certificates and enforce mandatory scrapping without delay. For registered right-hand drive vehicles that have not yet reached the scrapping standard, they are permitted to continue driving on roads. Once they reach the scrapping standard, they shall be processed according to the previous provision. 3. If right-hand drive vehicles that have reached the scrapping standard are still driven on roads, traffic management departments shall revoke their license plates and registration certificates upon discovery and enforce mandatory scrapping. 4. From the date of this announcement, traffic management departments shall not approve the conversion of right-hand drive vehicles to left-hand drive. Vehicles that have been converted without authorization will still be treated as right-hand drive vehicles.

What are the four wires of a four-wire oxygen sensor?

Four-wire oxygen sensors have four wires: 1. Two white wires are heater wires; 2. One black wire is the signal wire; 3. One gray wire is the signal ground wire. The working principle of an automotive oxygen sensor is: 1. Porous platinum electrodes are sintered on both sides, and oxygen molecules on the high-concentration side are adsorbed on the platinum electrodes; 2. 4e combines to form oxygen ions, making the electrode positively charged, and oxygen ions migrate to the low-oxygen-concentration side through oxygen ion vacancies in the electrolyte, making the electrode negatively charged; 3. When operating under low air-fuel ratio, there is little oxygen in the exhaust gas, and few oxygen ions on the outer side of the ceramic tube, generating an electromotive force of about 1.0V; 4. When operating under high air-fuel ratio (lean mixture), the oxygen content in the exhaust gas is high, and the oxygen ion concentration difference inside and outside the ceramic tube is small, resulting in a low electromotive force, close to zero.

What is the definition of four-wheel alignment?

Four-wheel alignment is defined as adjusting the four-wheel parameters of a vehicle to ensure optimal driving performance. The steps for four-wheel alignment are as follows: 1. Drive the vehicle onto a four-post alignment lift and check tire pressure and vehicle height; 2. After lifting all four wheels, inspect the tires for irregular wear or deformation. If the wear meets standards, measure whether the steering ball joints are loose and whether the lengths of the left and right tie rods are consistent; 3. Check the upper and lower suspension, stabilizer bar, subframe, and chassis for deformation or looseness; 4. Inspect the rear axle, lateral assist rod, and rear tie rod for deformation and whether the rubber bushings are loose; 5. If no abnormalities are found, lower the vehicle and shake it several times to confirm the suspension system is in normal condition, then remove the four-wheel alignment locking pins.

What are the symptoms of a bad car top mount?

Symptoms of a bad car top mount: 1. Reduced ride comfort - when going over speed bumps or rough roads, you may hear a "bang" sound accompanied by a direct impact felt through the body; 2. Increased tire noise - in severe cases, you can hear a roaring sound from the tires; 3. Vehicle pulls to one side during straight-line driving - even when the steering wheel is held at the same angle, the car cannot maintain a straight path and will automatically drift; 4. A "squeaking" sound when turning the steering wheel while stationary - in severe cases, this can also be felt through the steering wheel, which is caused by the top mount losing elasticity due to aging and being squeezed; 5. Severe damage can affect the service life of the shock absorber.
