Can Private Cars Be Equipped with Bulletproof Glass?

Private cars cannot be equipped with bulletproof glass, as the glass seals of ordinary private vehicles cannot bear the weight and thickness of bulletproof glass. Bulletproof glass is made by bonding multiple layers of glass or high-strength organic panels together with transparent laminated materials, consisting of the following three-layer structure: Load-bearing layer: This layer withstands impact and is typically made of thick, high-strength glass that can damage or deform bullets, preventing them from continuing forward. Transition layer: Usually made of organic bonding materials with strong adhesion and good light resistance, this layer absorbs part of the impact energy and alters the bullet's trajectory. A very sturdy and transparent chemical film is sandwiched between the laminated glass, which not only effectively prevents gunfire but also offers resistance to surge impact, explosion, shock, and remains crack-free after impact. Safety protection layer: Made of high-strength glass or high-strength transparent organic materials, this layer has excellent elasticity and toughness, absorbing most of the impact energy and ensuring bullets cannot penetrate it.
