Except for large buses, school buses, and hazardous goods transport vehicles, out-of-town vehicles can undergo local inspection. Additional information: Laws and regulations: According to "Measures by the Public Security Traffic Management Department to Further Deepen 'Deregulation, Management, and Service' Reforms and Enhance the Convenience of Traffic Management Services": Article 13 promotes cross-provincial inspection. On the basis of intra-provincial inspection, except for large buses, school buses, and hazardous goods transport vehicles, other vehicles can undergo cross-provincial (autonomous regions, municipalities) inspection. Related procedures: Applicants can directly inspect vehicles in provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) other than the vehicle registration location and obtain the inspection qualification mark without going through the entrusted inspection procedures, achieving nationwide "universal inspection". For vehicles exempt from inspection within 6 years, applicants can obtain the inspection mark across provinces.
