Can motorcycles be licensed?

China IV motorcycles can be licensed. China IV motorcycle standards: The China IV emission standard stipulates that from July 1, 2019, all motorcycles sold and registered must meet the China IV emission standard. From July 1, 2019, the license plate application for China III standard vehicles was stopped, and the inability to obtain a license plate also means they cannot be sold. Under the new standard, China IV motorcycles have further improved the durability requirements for emission control to ensure that future motorcycles are cleaner and more environmentally friendly. Motorcycle annual inspection: Motorcycles registered within 6 years are exempt from the inspection line, and motorcycle inspections can be conducted nationwide. Additionally, motorcycles exempt from inspection within 6 years are also exempt from environmental inspections. For applicants processing inspections in provinces (regions, cities) other than the motorcycle's registration location, the review of cross-region inspection authorization letters is no longer required. For those who have previously processed authorization letters but have not yet undergone inspection, the new regulations will apply, and no further review or retention will be required.
