Can motor oils of the same brand but different models be mixed?

Motor oils of the same brand but different models should not be mixed. Although they are from the same brand, the components can vary significantly due to different models. Mixing them may cause unknown chemical reactions, leading to unpredictable effects on the engine. The method for changing motor oil is as follows: 1. Lift the car and remove the bottom guard plate; 2. Place an oil container under the oil pan and unscrew the drain plug; 3. After the oil has drained completely, replace the oil filter and apply a layer of oil around it; 4. Tighten the drain plug, reinstall the guard plate, lower the car, and pour in the new oil. Motor oil serves to lubricate and reduce friction, assist in cooling, seal against leaks, prevent rust and corrosion, and provide shock absorption for the engine.
