According to Article 3 of Chapter 1 of China's 'Regulations on Compulsory Traffic Accident Liability Insurance for Motor Vehicles': Compulsory traffic accident liability insurance for motor vehicles refers to the mandatory liability insurance where the insurance company compensates for personal injuries, deaths, and property losses of victims other than the vehicle's occupants and the insured, within the liability limits, caused by road traffic accidents involving the insured motor vehicle. Additional Information: When a car accident occurs due to driving in the wrong direction, resulting in personal injuries, deaths, or property losses of victims other than the vehicle's occupants and the insured, the insurance company shall compensate within the limits of the compulsory traffic accident liability insurance for motor vehicles in accordance with the law.
