Can I turn left into the middle lane?

You cannot turn left into the middle lane; you should turn into the leftmost lane. Reasons for turning into the leftmost lane: Generally, in a three-lane road, the rightmost lane is for right turns, the middle lane is for going straight, and the leftmost lane is for left turns. Therefore, when making a left turn on a three-lane road, you should use the leftmost lane. Priority for left-turning vehicles: When there are traffic signs or markings indicating priority, the vehicle with the right of way should proceed first. In the absence of traffic signs or markings, vehicles should stop and observe before entering the intersection, yielding to vehicles coming from the right. Turning vehicles must yield to vehicles going straight, and vehicles turning right from the opposite direction must yield to vehicles turning left.
