You can still renew your driver's license normally if it has expired within one month. In fact, you can renew it normally within one year of expiration. According to Article 35 of the Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses, motor vehicle drivers should apply for renewal at the vehicle management office of the issuing authority within 90 days before the expiration of their driver's license. When applying for renewal, you need to fill out the motor vehicle driver's license application form and submit the following documents and certificates: the driver's identity proof, the original driver's license, and a medical certificate issued by a county-level or military regiment-level medical institution regarding physical condition. According to the Motor Vehicle Driver's License Management Regulations, if the renewal period exceeds one year, the vehicle management authority will cancel the driver's license and note it in the registration records. Therefore, the latest time to renew a driver's license should not exceed one year after the expiration date.
