Can I practice driving at a driving school before turning 18?

Individuals under 18 years old cannot attend driving school for practice, as on-road training requires passing the Subject 1 exam, and the registration requirement for Subject 1 of the driver's license is being at least 18 years old. Applicants for a motor vehicle driver's license must meet the age requirements. For small cars, small automatic transmission cars, small automatic transmission passenger cars for disabled persons, or light motorcycles, applicants must be between 18 and 70 years old. For low-speed trucks, three-wheeled vehicles, ordinary three-wheeled motorcycles, ordinary two-wheeled motorcycles, or wheeled self-propelled machinery, applicants must be between 18 and 60 years old. For urban buses, large trucks, trolleybuses, or trams, applicants must be between 20 and 50 years old. For medium-sized passenger vehicles, applicants must be between 21 and 50 years old. For tractor-trailers, applicants must be between 24 and 50 years old. For large passenger vehicles, applicants must be between 26 and 50 years old. Students receiving full-time driving vocational education applying for large passenger vehicles or tractor-trailers must be between 20 and 50 years old.
