Can I fix the window glass that won't roll up or down by myself?

Insert chopsticks wrapped with a towel into the glass guide channel. You can adjust the number of towel layers wrapped around the chopsticks according to the width of the guide channel to achieve an appropriate thickness. After cleaning, spray some dashboard wax (used for interior maintenance) into each glass guide channel for better results. This issue may be caused by problems with the window lift motor or the window lift mechanism.
The window won't go up or down. I've dealt with similar issues myself before. At first I thought it was a minor problem, but after checking, it might be the window switch button not working properly. Try pressing it gently a few times to see if there's any response. If not, check the fuse box, which is usually located under the steering wheel or on the passenger side. Find the corresponding fuse and try replacing it with a new one. Another common issue is the track getting stuck—try spraying some WD-40 lubricant, but don't force the glass up or down to avoid cracking it. If these steps don’t work, the motor or wiring might be damaged. Repairing it yourself is risky, as removing the door panel without the right tools can be difficult. Once, I nearly short-circuited the battery by accident. I recommend DIY for simple steps, but for complex issues, it's safer and more convenient to visit a repair shop. A window that doesn’t seal properly can lead to leaks, which can be troublesome, so address the issue early to avoid bigger losses.
