Can I directly apply for an A2 driver's license now?

Currently, you cannot directly apply for an A2 driver's license. You must have held a B1 or B2 driver's license for more than three years, or an A1 driver's license for more than one year, and have no record of accumulating 12 penalty points in the last three consecutive scoring cycles before applying. The A2 driver's license permits the operation of tractor-trailers and cannot be obtained directly; it can only be acquired through an additional licensing process. To obtain an A2 driver's license, the following conditions must be met simultaneously: 1. Age between 24 and 50 years old; 2. Height of at least 155 cm; 3. Naked or corrected visual acuity of at least 5.0 on the logarithmic visual acuity chart; 4. Have held a B1 or B2 driver's license for more than three years, or an A1 driver's license for more than one year, with no record of accumulating 12 penalty points in the last three consecutive scoring cycles before applying.
