Currently, you cannot directly apply for an A2 driver's license. The A2 license cannot be obtained as an initial application; it must be acquired through an upgrade. The driver must have held a B1 or B2 driver's license for at least three years, and in the two most recent scoring cycles before applying for the A2 license, they must not have accumulated 12 penalty points. Alternatively, if the driver has held an A1 license for at least one year, they must not have accumulated 12 penalty points in the most recent scoring cycle before applying for the A2 license. According to the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses" and the "Measures to Facilitate Services for the Public," the conditions for applying for an A2 license are as follows: Age must be between 22 and 60 years old; Height must be at least 155 cm, with both thumbs intact, at least three functional fingers on each hand, and normal hand mobility; No red-green color blindness, with uncorrected or corrected visual acuity of at least 5.0; Normal body and neck mobility, with intact lower limbs and a leg length difference not exceeding 5 cm; Must have held a B1 or B2 license for at least two years and not accumulated 12 penalty points in the two most recent scoring cycles.

What Lights Should Be Turned On for Night Driving?

When driving at night, it is necessary to turn on the high beam and the width indicator lights (also known as clearance lights). When encountering oncoming traffic at night, switch to the low beam, and immediately turn the high beam back on after passing the oncoming vehicle. The choice of lights for night driving depends on different situations. Use the low beam correctly when following another vehicle closely in the same direction; properly alternate between high and low beams when passing sharp curves, slopes, arched bridges, crosswalks, or intersections without traffic signals; correctly switch to the low beam when the distance to oncoming traffic is more than 150 meters; and use the low beam when turning at intersections. Precautions for night driving include using lights appropriately—usually, the low beam is sufficient for illumination during night driving, and the high beam should only be used in special circumstances; reduce the frequency of lane changes and overtaking, maintain a longer safe distance than during the day, and avoid fatigued driving.

Why Are There Differences Between Yellow and Blue License Plates for Motorcycles?

The differences between blue and yellow license plates for motorcycles are as follows: Yellow Plate: Motorcycles with an engine displacement above 50CC are required to have a yellow license plate; those with a displacement of 50CC or below are classified as light motorcycles and must have a blue license plate. Yellow-plated motorcycles require the rider to hold a valid motorcycle license (Class E). According to regulations, a yellow-plated motorcycle can carry a maximum of two people, including the rider. Blue Plate: Blue-plated two-wheeled motorcycles are categorized as light motorcycles and also require the rider to hold a valid license (Class F). Blue-plated motorcycles are restricted to carrying only one person, meaning the rider cannot have a passenger. Article 95 of the 'Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China' stipulates: If a motor vehicle driven on the road does not display a license plate, fails to carry an inspection compliance mark or insurance mark, or does not have the vehicle registration certificate or driver's license on board, the traffic management department of the public security organ shall impound the vehicle, notify the party to provide the corresponding license, mark, or complete the required procedures, and may impose penalties in accordance with Article 90 of this law. Once the party provides the corresponding license, mark, or completes the required procedures, the vehicle shall be promptly returned.

Why Does the Engine Noise Decrease After an Oil Change?

It may be due to the appropriate viscosity of the new oil, which results in reduced engine noise during operation. The functions of engine oil: Engine oil, or engine lubricant, with a density of approximately 0.91×10 (kg/m³), serves to lubricate and reduce friction, assist in cooling, seal against leaks, prevent rust and corrosion, and provide shock absorption for the engine. Composition of engine oil: Engine oil consists of base oil and additives. The base oil is the primary component of the lubricant, determining its fundamental properties, while additives compensate for and enhance the performance of the base oil, imparting new characteristics. Additives are an essential part of the lubricant.

Is it possible to overtake in windy conditions?

There are no regulations prohibiting overtaking in windy conditions, so overtaking is possible, provided that the conditions for overtaking are met: good visibility and no oncoming vehicles, ensuring safety. Keep windows closed in windy weather: When driving in strong winds, the first step is to close all windows to prevent sand and dust from entering the vehicle, which could affect the breathing of passengers and obstruct the view of the road. In windy weather, road conditions can be more complex, especially on gravel roads, where winds can stir up sand and debris, impairing the driver's visibility. In such situations, the driver must pay close attention to the road conditions and keep a firm grip on the steering wheel. Maintain a greater following distance in windy weather: In windy and dusty conditions, it's important not to follow other vehicles too closely. Always maintain a safe distance to allow time and space to react to unexpected events. If driving on dirt roads in such harsh weather, avoid tailgating, as the dust raised by the wind can obscure visibility, increasing the risk of rear-end collisions if not careful.
