Can I Change the Car Air Filter Myself?
1 Answers
Car air filters can be replaced by yourself. The main components of an air filter are the filter element and the housing, where the filter element is the primary filtering part responsible for gas filtration, while the housing provides the necessary external protection for the filter element. Below are the steps to replace the air filter: 1. First, open the glove box cover. Locate the fixing buckle on the right side of the glove box and pull it outward firmly. 2. Remove the fixing buckle of the glove box cover to detach it. 3. Squeeze both sides of the glove box towards the middle with both hands, and the glove box can then be taken off. 4. After removing the glove box, you will see the air filter cover. Press firmly on the fixing buckles on both sides of the cover, and the cover can then be removed.
