Can I Buy a Stock Car?

Stock cars can be purchased. For example, vehicles displayed in many 4S stores for consumer viewing may sometimes become stock cars. These cars themselves have no issues and can be bought. True stock cars are those that haven't been sold within three months after leaving the factory. To determine if a car is a stock car, you can open the engine hood to check the vehicle model and manufacturing date, which will give you an approximate idea of how long the car has been stored. If you want to buy a stock car, make sure to carefully inspect whether the paint has faded, whether the paint surface is even, and also check the body panels for any scratches or dents.
I've personally experienced buying an inventory car, and it's a completely viable idea, but it requires some skill. An inventory car is simply a new vehicle that's been sitting unsold at the dealership for several months. The biggest advantage is the significant price drop – last time I saved around ten to twenty thousand yuan because the dealer was eager to clear stock. However, there are obvious downsides: prolonged outdoor parking can drain the battery, tires may deform affecting driving feel, and engine fluids might settle and lose effectiveness. When purchasing, always carefully check the manufacturing date to see if it's over six months old; take multiple test drive laps to listen to the engine sound and test the brakes; and don't forget to negotiate – they're willing to compromise to clear inventory. Overall, it's a worthwhile deal, but don't sacrifice thorough inspection for cheap prices.
