Due to its superior cleaning properties, it also keeps the engine cylinders cleaner. Semi-synthetic oil is formulated with semi-synthetic base oils, specifically Group III base oils refined through hydro-cracking technology from mineral oils. It consists of a 6:4 blend of fully synthetic and mineral oils, serving as an ideal transitional product between mineral and synthetic oils.

I've been driving an old car and found that good engine oil can indeed save some fuel.
