Coolant colors cannot be mixed. Mixing coolants with different chemical compositions can cause chemical reactions, rendering the coolant ineffective. The correct method for adding coolant is as follows: 1. Unscrew the radiator cap, open the radiator drain valve, and drain the coolant; 2. Insert a rubber hose into the radiator filler neck and flush the engine cooling system with tap water; 3. After draining the water from the cooling system, close the radiator drain valve; 4. Unscrew the reservoir cap and add coolant until the liquid level reaches the MAX mark; 5. Tighten the reservoir cap; 6. Start the engine and let it idle for 2 to 3 minutes, then unscrew the radiator cap to allow the cooling system to expel some air. The coolant level will drop, so top it up again to the MAX mark.

What does 1.5L and 1.5T displacement mean?

Displacement 1.5L refers to a naturally aspirated engine with a displacement of 1.5 liters; 1.5T refers to a turbocharged engine with a displacement of 1.5 liters. Naturally Aspirated: Naturally aspirated is a type of car intake that forces air into the combustion chamber without any supercharger, relying solely on atmospheric pressure. Turbocharging is a technology that uses exhaust gases produced by internal combustion engine operation to drive an air compressor. Comparison: The 1.5L engine has relatively high reliability, lower failure rates during use, and relatively low daily maintenance costs. For vehicles with a 1.5T engine, the turbocharger may need to be replaced after reaching 150,000 kilometers, and the maintenance costs for 'T' engines are higher.

What is the difference between semi-synthetic oil and fully synthetic oil?

Semi-synthetic oil and fully synthetic oil are two classifications of engine oil. The following are the specific differences between them: 1. Different base oils: Semi-synthetic oil uses Group III base oil; fully synthetic oil is a mixture of Group III, IV, and V base oils. 2. Different replacement intervals: Semi-synthetic oil should be replaced every six months or 7,500 kilometers during use; fully synthetic oil should be replaced every year or 10,000 kilometers during use. 3. Different applicable temperatures: Fully synthetic oil has a wider range of operating temperatures. In the same working environment, fully synthetic oil can protect the engine with a lower viscosity, while semi-synthetic oil has relatively higher requirements for use.

What is the ground clearance of the Acura RDX?

Acura RDX has a minimum ground clearance of 144MM, which is the distance under the condition of maximum allowable total mass. The specific introduction of ground clearance is as follows: 1. Minimum ground clearance refers to the distance between the most prominent part of the chassis and the horizontal ground when the car is under the condition of maximum allowable load mass. 2. For the distance of ground clearance, it was previously required to be between 150mm and 160mm. 3. The minimum ground clearance reflects the ability of the car to pass obstacles or uneven ground without collision. The size of the ground clearance is related to the center of gravity of the car. The larger the ground clearance, the higher the center of gravity of the car, and the more unstable it is, but of course, its ability to pass obstacles is also stronger; on the contrary, the smaller the ground clearance of the car, the lower its center of gravity, and the more stable it is.

What Causes Engine Shaking at Idle Speed?

Regarding the specific reasons for engine shaking at idle speed: 1. Severe engine carbon buildup caused by a dirty throttle body or excessive carbon deposits in the fuel injectors. When there is too much carbon buildup inside the engine, the gasoline sprayed by the fuel injectors during cold starts is largely absorbed by the carbon deposits, resulting in an overly lean air-fuel mixture and difficulty starting. 2. Ignition system malfunction. Over time, components such as spark plugs, high-voltage wires, and ignition coils can degrade, leading to poor ignition system performance. 3. Unstable fuel pressure. This can be caused by abnormal fuel pump pressure or incorrect readings from the intake pressure sensor, which can cause the engine to shake. 4. Aging engine components. When electrical systems are turned on while the engine is idling, it increases the engine load, causing the idle speed to drop.
