Brake pads can be replaced without going to a 4S shop. Brake pads, also known as brake linings, should be replaced every 30,000 to 50,000 kilometers for the front brake pads and every 60,000 to 100,000 kilometers for the rear brake pads. The brake pads of all four wheels are not replaced at the same time. Brake pads require regular inspection and timely maintenance. Brake pads are generally composed of a steel plate, an adhesive heat insulation layer, and a friction block. The steel plate is coated to prevent rust, and the coating process is monitored using an SMT4 furnace temperature tracker to ensure the temperature distribution during the coating process for quality assurance. The heat insulation layer is made of non-heat-conducting materials to provide insulation. The friction block consists of friction materials and adhesives, which are pressed against the brake disc or brake drum during braking to create friction, thereby achieving the purpose of vehicle deceleration and braking.
