Can Automatic Parking Be Installed as an Aftermarket Feature?

Automatic parking can be installed as an aftermarket feature. Introduction to Automatic Parking: Its foreign name is AUTOHOLD, which refers to an automatic braking function. After activating this function, it eliminates the need to pull the handbrake, simplifying operations by avoiding the use of manual or electronic parking brakes. For automatic transmission models, it also reduces the frequent shifting between D to N or D to P. AUTOHOLD is an extension of the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) functionality, controlled by ESP components. When the vehicle is temporarily stopped, the braking is managed by the ESP-controlled system. The computer uses a series of sensors to measure the vehicle's levelness and wheel torque, determining any tendency for the vehicle to roll and applying an appropriate braking force to keep the vehicle stationary. When the vehicle is about to move forward, the electronic system detects the throttle pressure and, for manual transmission models, the clutch pedal travel, to decide whether to release the brake.
