Audi cars can use Mobil oil. Mobil Oil Series Classification: Mobil lubricating oil, also known as Mobil oil, has many varieties. Mobil gasoline engine lubricating oil is divided into three main series: Mobil 1 series, Mobil Super series, and Mobil Delvac series. Among them, the Mobil 1 series includes: Mobil 1 Gold (Gold Mobil), Mobil 1 Silver (Silver Mobil), and Mobil 1 Green (Green Mobil). Mobil 1 is a fully synthetic oil and the highest series of Mobil lubricating oil products, with Gold Mobil being the top-tier product in this series. Mobil Super Series: Mobil Super 2000 and Mobil Super 1000. The Mobil Super series is quite unique because Super 2000 is a semi-synthetic lubricating oil, while Super 1000 is a mineral oil. The Delvac series includes: Mobil Delvac Special and Mobil Delvac, both of which are mineral oils.

Actually, there's no problem at all using Mobil oil for Audi. My own old A6 has been running on Mobil for five years. The key is to choose the right model, checking the oil standard labeled under the engine hood, such as VW502 or 504 certification. The Mobil 1 0W-40 variant comes with Volkswagen certification, offering good fluidity during cold starts and adequate high-temperature protection when driving on highways. I remember last winter at -15 degrees Celsius, the engine started with very stable RPM. I usually buy from official authorized stores to avoid fake products damaging the engine. If you frequently drive long distances, it's recommended to change the oil at 8,000 kilometers, don't wait until 10,000 kilometers.

I've seen quite a few Audis getting Mobil oil changes at repair shops, especially those with 2.0T engines. Mobil has exceptional cleaning capabilities that can reduce carbon buildup. It's best to choose the fully synthetic oil from their Gold series, which offers better protection for turbos compared to semi-synthetic oils. However, be cautious with newer China 6 models equipped with particulate filters – they require low-ash oil, so Mobil ESP series is recommended. Always scan the QR code on the bottle to verify authenticity when purchasing. For oil filters, avoid generic brands – Mann or Mahle's specialized versions provide better compatibility.

Choosing Mobil depends on the vehicle model and year. For older Audis, 5W-40 is the safest choice, while newer models perform better with low-viscosity 0W-20 for improved fuel efficiency. My neighbor's Q5 has been using Mobil Classic Performance 5W-40 for four years without any issues. The oil change interval can be determined by the oil life monitoring system; for vehicles without this feature, it's recommended to change every 7,000 kilometers. Right after an oil change, the throttle response becomes noticeably smoother, and cold starts in winter are much easier.
