Can ATVs Be Driven on Public Roads?
1 Answers
ATVs cannot be driven on public roads. Pre-departure vehicle inspection: Before setting off each day, conduct a comprehensive vehicle check including inspecting for oil or coolant leaks; measuring tire pressure to ensure proper inflation; checking engine oil condition; and verifying the spare tire's integrity. Water crossing precautions: When encountering flooded road sections, first assess water depth and underwater road conditions to determine if it exceeds the vehicle's capability. Avoid attempting water crossings when the depth exceeds half of the tire height. Traffic regulation compliance: Never race with other vehicles. Drive safely according to traffic laws and yield to pedestrians. Maintain proper following distance by positioning your vehicle at the right rear corner of the preceding car. When overtaking, always pass from the left side - never overtake from the right or between parallel vehicles.
