An A3 license can be upgraded to an A1 license. You only need to already hold an A3, B1, or B2 driver's license and meet certain conditions to upgrade to an A1. The following are the conditions: 1. Have held a license for driving city buses or medium-sized passenger vehicles for more than five years; 2. Have held a license for large trucks for more than three years; 3. Have held a license for driving tractor-trailers for more than two years. In addition to meeting one of the above conditions, you must also not have accumulated 12 penalty points in the last five consecutive scoring cycles before applying. The following are the physical requirements for upgrading to an A1 license: 1. Height: At least 155 cm; 2. Vision: Naked or corrected vision in both eyes must reach at least 5.0 on the logarithmic visual acuity chart; 3. Color vision: No red-green color blindness; 4. Hearing: Able to distinguish the direction of sound sources with each ear at a distance of 50 cm from a tuning fork; 5. Upper limbs: Both thumbs must be intact, and each hand must have at least three other fingers intact with normal limb and finger movement function; 6. Lower limbs: Both lower limbs must be intact with normal movement function, and the length difference must not exceed 5 cm; 7. Trunk and neck: No movement dysfunction; 8. Age: Between 22 and 60 years old.
