An A2 driver's license with 9 demerit points can still be reviewed annually, but requires additional study. Below is additional information: Study requirement: For an A2 license with 9-11 demerit points (under 12 points), the driver must complete at least three hours of study at the traffic department of the public security authority within thirty days after the end of the current scoring cycle. Relevant regulations: Article 70 of the 'Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses' stipulates that drivers holding licenses for large buses, tractors, city buses, medium-sized buses, or large trucks must undergo review at the traffic management department of the public security authority within thirty days after each scoring cycle ends. However, if there are no demerit points recorded during a scoring cycle, the review for that cycle is exempted.
