A2 driver's license cannot drive a city bus. The permitted vehicle types for an A2 license are tractors. Holders of a valid A2 license issued by China's public security traffic police vehicle management authorities can drive heavy and medium-sized full trailers and semi-trailers, as well as vehicle types permitted by B1, B2, C1, C2, C3, C4, and M licenses. City buses require an A3 license, with the vehicle type being city buses with a capacity of 10 or more passengers. An A3 license can be obtained directly or by upgrading from any other license after one year, but the application requirements include being at least 20 years old; a height requirement of at least 1.55 meters for large vehicles; no motor dysfunction in limbs or neck; and naked or corrected vision of at least 4.9 on the logarithmic visual acuity chart. Regulations related to A2 driver's license: According to the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses" (Order No. 123 of the Ministry of Public Security), for full trailers and semi-trailers driven by holders of a legally valid A2 license in China; trailers whose total weight is borne by themselves are called full trailers; trailers whose total weight is partially borne by the tractor are called semi-trailers.
