Can a Yu A Temporary License Plate Leave Zhengzhou?

Yu A temporary license plates cannot leave Zhengzhou. Temporary license plates are paper motor vehicle license plates that allow temporary road use, also known as temporary driving license plates. They are temporary vehicle driving permits issued by the public security vehicle management department for newly purchased vehicles before official registration. Temporary license plates can be divided into: 1. Temporary license plates for administrative jurisdictions; 2. Temporary license plates for cross-administrative jurisdictions; 3. Temporary license plates for testing purposes; 4. Temporary license plates for special-type motor vehicles. Conditions for applying for temporary license plates: 1. Driving from the place of purchase to the place of use; 2. Vehicle transfer, with official license plates already paid for; 3. New vehicles in the local area that have not yet applied for official license plates and need to be driven to other places for modification; 4. Vehicles purchased locally that need to be driven to other places; 5. Vehicles that have not yet been registered and need temporary trial use.
When I first got my Yu A temporary license plate, I was also worried about this issue. A friend of mine who works at the vehicle management office told me that temporary license plates can be used nationwide and are not restricted to Zhengzhou only. I remember last year when I drove my new car to Luoyang for a trip, I also had a Yu A temporary plate, and everything went smoothly. However, you need to pay attention to the validity period, which is usually 15 or 30 days. During this period, you can drive out of the province for travel or business trips. But it's better not to drive too long distances, as it could be troublesome if the temporary plate expires during the trip or if you get pulled over for speeding. Make sure to properly affix the temporary plate on the front and rear windows, and carry the temporary driving permit and insurance documents, otherwise you might face fines during inspections. If you plan to leave Zhengzhou, first confirm that the validity period covers your trip, or arrange rest stops near your destination in advance to avoid risks. I’ve driven with it a few times and found it quite convenient, but I always maintain cautious driving habits.
