The body color of a vehicle can be changed. However, according to relevant regulations, if the vehicle owner or agent applies to change the body color, replace the engine, body, or frame, they must submit the required documents and have the vehicle inspected after the modification. Vehicles that are not registered and filed cannot be transferred. Vehicle transfer process: The vehicle owner must fill out the "Application Form for Vehicle Transfer, Export, and Import Registration" and sign and seal it as required; submit the "Vehicle License" and "Vehicle Registration Certificate" for inspection, and provide the original identity proof; first, obtain the review and seal from the vehicle management office, then proceed to the trading market for transaction after the traffic police inspect the vehicle, and complete other procedures as required; simultaneously, return the original vehicle license plate, publicly select a new number, and receive the new vehicle license plate. Vehicle color change filing process: First, after the painting is completed, bring the vehicle to the vehicle management office for photographing and inspection of the color-changed vehicle. Then, fill out the "Motor Vehicle Change Registration/Filing Application Form" and submit the change application. Finally, the staff will record the changes in the "Vehicle Registration Certificate" and reissue the "Vehicle License".
