Can a vehicle under seizure status be driven on the road?

A vehicle seized by the court can still be driven normally on the road. Sale and mortgage: It can be driven but cannot be sold, mortgaged, or used for other purposes. If sale or mortgage is indeed necessary, court approval must be obtained, and the seizure must be lifted through proper procedures. Otherwise, unauthorized transactions will incur legal liabilities. Legal basis: Article 244 of the Civil Procedure Law: If the person subjected to execution fails to fulfill the obligations specified in the legal documents according to the execution notice, the People's Court has the authority to seize, detain, freeze, auction, or sell off the property of the person subjected to execution that should be used to fulfill the obligations. However, the necessities of life for the person subjected to execution and their dependents shall be retained. The People's Court shall make a ruling when taking the measures mentioned in the preceding paragraph.
