A vehicle that has not been inspected for six years cannot pass the inspection. Additional information is as follows: Regulations: A vehicle that has not been inspected can still undergo annual inspection within three years, but if it exceeds three years, it must be mandatorily scrapped. According to the "Regulations on the Compulsory Scrapping Standards for Motor Vehicles": Article 4: Registered motor vehicles that fall under any of the following circumstances shall be mandatorily scrapped. The owner shall sell the vehicle to a scrap motor vehicle recycling and dismantling enterprise, which shall register, dismantle, and process the vehicle according to regulations, and submit the vehicle registration certificate, license plate, and driving license to the traffic management department of the public security authority for cancellation: reaching the service life specified in Article 5 of these regulations; after repair and adjustment, still failing to meet the national standards for motor vehicle safety technical requirements for in-use vehicles; after repair and adjustment or the adoption of control technology, still failing to meet the national standards for in-use vehicles regarding the emission of pollutants or noise into the atmosphere; failing to obtain the motor vehicle inspection qualification mark for three consecutive motor vehicle inspection cycles after the expiration of the inspection validity period.
