Tire sidewall cuts cannot be repaired and require immediate replacement. The sidewall is a weaker part of the tire, and continued use poses a risk of blowouts and safety hazards. If the tire has tread wear indicators—slightly raised marks located at the base of the tread grooves, measuring 1.6 mm in height—the tire should be replaced immediately, as further driving is no longer safe. Tires are circular, elastic rubber products mounted on metal rims, designed to support the vehicle's weight, absorb external shocks, maintain contact with the road, and ensure driving performance.
