Can a Motorcycle Start After Cylinder Scoring?

Motorcycle cylinder scoring cannot be driven. If a motorcycle with cylinder scoring continues to run, the spark plug is prone to damage. It also consumes a significant amount of fuel. Introduction to Cylinder Scoring: Cylinder scoring refers to the intense interaction (friction) between the engine piston assembly and the cylinder working surface, resulting in excessive wear, scuffing, scratches, abrasions, cracks, or seizure on the working surface. Hazards of Cylinder Scoring: Cylinder scoring is a form of adhesive wear that occurs under lubricated conditions. In mild cases, it damages the cylinder liner and piston assembly. In severe cases, it can lead to catastrophic engine damage, such as piston or connecting rod breakage, machine failure, and even major accidents.
