Can a Leaking Car Radiator Be Repaired?

Car radiator leaks can be repaired by welding, with specific measures as follows: 1. Check if the radiator cap is tightly secured. 2. Use an air pump to test by pumping air into the radiator to identify the leak location under pressure before deciding on a repair plan. 3. Unscrew the engine oil filler cap to check for signs of oil emulsification (indicating cylinder head gasket failure or corrosion). If present, take the car to a repair shop to disassemble the engine and replace the cylinder head gasket. 4. For copper or iron radiators, tin soldering can be used. The upper and lower tanks or cooling tubes can also be replaced. 5. For minor leaks, placing tea bag powder inside can be effective. 6. If the rubber hose connection is leaking, use a screwdriver to wrap the hose clamp around the connection and tighten it with pliers. If the rubber hose is damaged, temporarily secure the cracked area with adhesive tape.
