Can a dash cam record the interior of the car?

If it is a dual-camera dash cam (front and rear), it can record the interior of the car, but a single-camera dash cam cannot. The advantage of connecting a dash cam to the cigarette lighter is the simplicity of wiring, but it affects aesthetics somewhat and occupies one cigarette lighter port. Normally, the cigarette lighter is connected to the ACC (accessory power), which only supplies power when the ignition is on. Therefore, a dash cam connected to the cigarette lighter cannot achieve 24-hour parking surveillance. On the other hand, connecting to the fuse box allows direct connection to the car battery, enabling 24-hour parking surveillance. However, the downside of connecting to the fuse box is that it is more complicated and usually requires professional installation. The benefit is that there are no exposed wires, making it look more aesthetically pleasing.
