I used to have a Class D license, which allows me to drive large buses, but it doesn’t qualify me to ride an electric motorcycle directly. The Class D license is intended for large passenger vehicles, such as tour buses or city buses, and its permitted driving scope does not include motorcycles. Electric motorcycles are categorized into electric mopeds and regular electric motorcycles, both of which legally require either a Class E or Class F license. Once, I asked a friend at a driving school, and he said that to legally ride an electric motorcycle, I’d need to upgrade to a Class E license, which involves both a theory test and a road test. Riding without the proper license could lead to fines, point deductions, or even vehicle confiscation if caught by the police—it’s both unsafe and troublesome. My advice is, if you plan to ride an electric motorcycle, check the licensing requirements beforehand to avoid legal risks.

What grade is A3B4 engine oil?

A3B4 engine oil does not have a specific grade; it belongs to a relatively high-grade mainstream lubricant, designed for catalytic gasoline and light-duty diesel engines. It is equivalent to the SL and CL grades in the API classification. A3B4 engine oil is a testing and certification standard for automotive lubricants established by the European automobile manufacturing industry. 'A' represents gasoline engine oil, with classifications such as A1, A3, and A5; 'B' stands for light-duty diesel engine oil, including B1, B3, B4, and B5. The numbers indicate the oil grade, with higher numbers representing higher grades. The difference between A3B4 and SN in engine oil lies in the fact that they are grades certified by two different associations: the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) and the American Petroleum Institute (API). A3B4 is an engine oil standard established by ACEA, representing lubricants for gasoline engine modules, while SN is a classification verified by API. Although these are two different certification standards, there is a certain correlation between ACEA and API. For example, A3B4 is only equivalent to the SL grade in API, making SN relatively more advanced in comparison. It is worth noting that different EU certification standards do not indicate the quality of the engine oil but rather reflect different applicability standards. After all, every vehicle uses a different engine, so the type of oil required also varies. Most domestic vehicles use gasoline engines, which require one of three types of engine oil: mineral oil, semi-synthetic oil, or full-synthetic oil. When selecting engine oil, it is necessary to choose based on the engine type, and there is no need to deliberately switch to other standards. Using oil that does not meet the specified requirements can have adverse effects, impairing the engine's performance.

What to Do When All Driving License Points Are Deducted?

If all the points on a driving license are deducted, the vehicle owner must attend a training course and pass an exam to retrieve the license. Failure to attend the training within the specified time will result in the revocation of the driving license. Vehicle owners should always adhere to traffic rules while driving, as only 11 points can be deducted within a 12-month period for a single license. The training duration is 5 days, with sessions held every morning. The curriculum includes topics such as traffic violation points and penalties, driver psychology and traffic safety, and road traffic safety laws and regulations. After completing the training, the vehicle management office will administer an exam on road traffic safety laws, regulations, and related knowledge within 20 days. If the exam is passed, the points will be cleared, and the driving license will be returned. If failed, the individual must continue attending training and retake the exam.

How to Adjust the Front and Back Position of an Electric Car Seat?

To adjust the front and back position of an electric car seat, lift the adjustment handle located at the lower right side of the seat to release the locking mechanism. The seat can then be moved forward or backward. Once the desired position is achieved, release the adjustment handle to lock the seat in place. When adjusting the seat, pay attention to the relationship between your arms and the steering wheel, as well as your legs and the accelerator, clutch, and brake pedals. The ideal seat position is when your arms are stretched straight forward with your wrists resting just above the top edge of the steering wheel, ensuring flexibility in steering. Your knees should be slightly bent when the pedals are fully depressed. If the seat is too far back, it may lead to inaccurate operation during emergency braking, increasing the risk of rear-end collisions. Conversely, if the seat is too close, your body may be too near the steering wheel, which could cause severe injuries in emergency situations.
