A car should not be lent to others to drive. Accumulating 12 points within a cycle: If a driver accumulates 12 points within a scoring cycle, their motor vehicle driving license will be confiscated by the traffic management department of the public security authority. The driver must then participate in the study of road traffic safety laws and regulations as required and take the corresponding exam. If the exam is passed, the points will be cleared, and the motor vehicle driving license will be returned. If the exam is failed, the driver must continue studying and retake the exam. Accumulating 12 points more than twice: If a driver accumulates 12 points more than twice within a scoring cycle, in addition to having their motor vehicle driving license confiscated, participating in study, and taking the exam as stipulated in Article 23, they must also undergo a driving skills test. If the test is passed, the points will be cleared, and the motor vehicle driving license will be returned. If the test is failed, the driver must continue studying and retake the exam. The driving skills test will be conducted based on the highest permissible vehicle type indicated on the driver's motor vehicle driving license.
