Can a C1 driver's license be obtained through connections?

C1 driver's license cannot be obtained through connections, as buying or selling driver's licenses is prohibited in any city or region. The examination includes four subjects: traffic regulations and related knowledge, field driving, road driving, and safe and civilized driving knowledge. C1 driver's license examination passing standards: Traffic regulations and related knowledge (Subject 1) — Written test, full score of 100, passing score is 90 or above. Field driving (Subject 2) — On-site, actual vehicle. Minimum passing score is 80, below 80 is a fail. Road driving (Subject 3) — Highway or simulated site, actual vehicle. Full score of 100, must achieve 90 or above to pass. Safe and civilized driving knowledge — Written test, questions mainly in the form of cases, pictures, animations, etc., question types include true/false, single-choice, and multiple-choice, totaling 50 questions, full score of 100, passing score is 90.
I think this is really unreliable. Buying a C1 driver's license through connections may sound convenient, but it's practically unworkable and carries huge risks. Having driven for over 20 years, I've seen many cases where people spent a fortune to get fake licenses to save trouble, only to be caught by traffic police on their first drive—the fake license was obvious at a glance, resulting in immediate point deductions, fines, and a years-long suspension. Even worse, without proper driving school training and exams, some don't even know basic traffic rules, which could lead to accidents on highways, endangering themselves and others. China now has strict driver's license management—all C1 tests require passing a theory exam, practical tests like reverse parking, and official registration with traffic authorities. I advise everyone to avoid shady shortcuts, sign up for proper driving courses, practice diligently, and pass the test legitimately—it's safer, more reliable, and cheaper in the long run.
