Yes, a 60-year-old can get a driver's license. According to Article 11 of the Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses, applicants for small cars, small automatic transmission cars, small automatic transmission passenger cars for the disabled, and light motorcycles must be between 18 and 70 years old. According to the regulations, drivers who have reached the age of 60 are prohibited from driving vehicles requiring A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, N, or P licenses. For those over 60, the only vehicle types they can learn to drive are C1 manual transmission vehicles and C2 automatic transmission vehicles. If they already hold A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, N, or P licenses, they will be downgraded to a C1 license upon reaching 60 years of age.
