A 4.2-meter truck can be driven with a C-class license, as long as it is a blue-plate truck, but the driver must obtain the corresponding freight transport qualification certificate. The C1 driver's license allows driving trucks with a maximum length of less than 6 meters and a total mass of less than 4500 kg. A 4.2-meter box truck can be driven with a C1 license, as box trucks are generally low-speed trucks. However, if it is a large truck, it cannot be driven with a C1 license. The following are the vehicle types permitted for a C1 driver's license: 1. Small and mini passenger vehicles; 2. Light and mini cargo vehicles; 3. Light and mini special-purpose vehicles; 4. C2 automatic transmission, C3 low-speed cargo vehicles, C4 three-wheeled vehicles, etc., but excluding C5 small automatic transmission passenger vehicles for the disabled.
