Comfort Access, also known as keyless entry, primarily enables the vehicle to detect the key without altering the original car key. Simply by carrying the key and approaching the vehicle, the system will activate upon proximity to the door. Once detected, the owner only needs to reach into the unlocking sensor area, and the door will automatically unlock (accompanied by a flash of the emergency lights), allowing entry into the vehicle. Conversely, after turning off the engine and exiting the vehicle, a simple touch to the locking sensor area will automatically lock the doors (with the emergency lights flashing once again).
