At what temperature does the thermostat of the Baojun 560 open?

The thermostat of the Baojun 560 normally opens at 70-80 degrees Celsius. Post-engine start check: Open the radiator filler cap. If the coolant in the radiator is still, it indicates the thermostat is functioning properly; otherwise, it suggests a malfunction. This is because when the water temperature is below 70 degrees Celsius, the thermostat's expansion cylinder is in a contracted state, keeping the main valve closed. When the water temperature exceeds 80 degrees Celsius, the expansion cylinder expands, gradually opening the main valve and allowing the circulation of coolant in the radiator. If water flow is observed in the radiator inlet pipe when the temperature gauge indicates below 70 degrees Celsius and the water feels warm, it indicates the main valve is not sealing properly, causing premature large circulation of the coolant. Check after water temperature rises: During the initial operation of the engine, if the water temperature rises quickly but slows down after the temperature gauge indicates 80 degrees, it means the thermostat is working normally. Conversely, if the water temperature continues to rise rapidly and boiling water suddenly overflows when internal pressure reaches a certain level, it indicates the main valve is stuck.
