At what temperature does the Nissan Sylphy's cooling fan activate?

Generally, it activates above 95°C and stops below 90°C. Reasons for fan not activating: When the coolant reaches a certain temperature, it should normally activate. If it doesn't, there are two possibilities: either the air conditioning is on, or the coolant temperature sensor is malfunctioning. Alternatively, you can first check if the fan relay is not conducting. Function of the cooling fan: To prevent engine overheating, components around the combustion chamber (cylinder liner, cylinder head, valves, etc.) must be properly cooled. Internal combustion engines have three forms of cooling systems: water cooling, oil cooling, and air cooling. Automotive engines primarily use water cooling, circulating coolant through cylinder water jackets for cooling. The heated coolant is then directed to the radiator (cooling tank) for air cooling before returning to the water jackets.
