At what temperature does the BMW X5's fan start working?

Generally, the engine radiator cooling fan starts working at around 90 degrees Celsius. When the temperature reaches approximately 105 degrees, the fan begins to operate at high speed. For domestic vehicles, the fan typically activates between 93 to 95 degrees. The radiator fan will automatically turn on only after the vehicle engine has been running for a certain period and the coolant temperature rises. Fan operation: The car's electric fan is controlled by a thermostat. When the coolant temperature rises to the upper limit, the thermostat connects the power supply and the fan starts working. When the temperature drops to the lower limit, the thermostat cuts off the power and the fan stops. Methods to determine fan condition: Visually inspect the fan motor's ventilation port to check if there are any signs of burnt coil discoloration. If burnt marks are present, it indicates the fan motor coil is damaged and unusable. Smell the fan motor for any odor of burnt coils or melted plastic - if detected, the fan is no longer functional.
