Its main responsibilities include managing local motor vehicles and drivers citywide, conducting vehicle inspections and driver verifications in accordance with the law, administering learner exams, issuing driving licenses, issuing and renewing license plates and certificates, and processing various motor vehicle and driving license alteration procedures. Drivers can register non-personally owned small vehicles through the Traffic Management 12123 mobile app, allowing the simultaneous registration of any three non-personally owned small vehicles. After registration, drivers can deregister at any time and re-register other non-personally owned small vehicles.
