Are there vehicle inspections at highway exits?

There are traffic police and highway patrols on the highways, but they generally do not stop vehicles for inspections. Police will conduct checks when vehicles exit or enter the highway at toll stations, but not every vehicle may be inspected. Before driving on the highway, the following items should be checked: 1. Tires: Carefully inspect the appearance of each tire for any cuts. If the inner tire cords are damaged, the tire must be replaced. 2. Brakes: Check the thickness of the brake pads; if they are too thin (less than 2mm), they need to be replaced. Test the brakes at normal speed to ensure there are no abnormalities. Park the car on a slope to check if the handbrake is effective. 3. Antifreeze: Antifreeze prevents the coolant from freezing and expanding when the car is parked in cold winter, which could cause the radiator and engine cylinders to crack. 4. Lights: Including headlights, reverse lights, brake lights, turn signals, interior lights, fog lights, etc. Pay special attention to fog lights; if there are any issues, they should be replaced immediately.
