The Zhonghua Cool Bear GT version and the standard version have no exterior differences. The distinction between the two lies solely in the GT designation, with all other configurations being identical. The Zhonghua Cool Bear is the first self-developed mid-to-high-end coupe by Brilliance Auto R&D Center, designed based on F1 concepts. It is also China's first sports coupe equipped with a turbocharged engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Zhonghua Cool Bear comes with two engine options: 1. A 1.8L naturally aspirated engine, codenamed 4G93, delivering a maximum power of 100kW and a maximum torque of 165Nm. Its peak power is achieved at 6,500 rpm, while maximum torque is available at 5,000 rpm. 2. A 1.8L turbocharged engine, codenamed BL18T, producing a maximum power of 125kW and a maximum torque of 235Nm. This engine reaches peak power at 5,500 rpm, with maximum torque available between 2,000 and 4,500 rpm.
