Are the Audi A7 and Panamera in the same class?

The Audi A7 and Panamera are not in the same class. The Panamera is much more expensive than the Audi A7. However, both the Audi A7 and Porsche Panamera are relatively high-end four-door coupes. Introduction to the Audi A7: The Audi A7 is a four-door sports luxury coupe positioned between C-class executive and D-class luxury sedans. In terms of size, it is slightly larger than a non-extended C-class executive sedan but smaller than a D-class luxury sedan. Introduction to the Panamera: Panamera is the Chinese translation of Porsche's Panamera. The Porsche Panamera is a four-door, five-seat coupe. As a luxury coupe, it has quick acceleration, with the top model capable of 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of nearly 310 km/h. The mid-range models vary in acceleration from 4.2 to 5.4 seconds for 0-100 km/h, comparable to supercars.
Recently visited several cars at the showroom and noticed both the Audi A7 and Panamera feature fastback designs, but they're definitely not in the same league. The domestically produced A7 starts at just over 500,000 RMB, equipped with a 2.0T four-cylinder engine, targeting business users with a touch of sportiness. The Panamera, however, costs at least nearly 1 million RMB, comes standard with air suspension and Porsche-tuned chassis, and its base V6 engine already outperforms the A7. Last month, I witnessed a friend take delivery of a Panamera—even the brake calipers were optional ceramic components, where just the cost of these premium materials could buy a base A7. Not to mention Porsche's exclusive concierge service at dealerships, something Audi simply can't match in terms of luxury experience.
