Out-of-town license plates are subject to traffic restrictions in Beijing, which mainly fall into two categories: 1. Out-of-town passenger vehicles: mainly including ordinary private cars, buses, minibuses, and vans; 2. Out-of-town cargo vehicles: including blue-plate trucks, yellow-plate trucks, enclosed small trucks, and pickup trucks. The relevant penalty regulations for Beijing's traffic restrictions are as follows: 1. Violating the tail number restriction rules for motor vehicles will result in a fine; 2. Out-of-town motor vehicles without a Beijing entry permit entering roads within the Sixth Ring Road (excluding) will be fined and receive 3 penalty points; 3. Out-of-town trucks with a Beijing entry permit entering roads within the Sixth Ring Road (including) between 6:00 and 24:00 will be fined and receive 3 penalty points; 4. Local cargo vehicles, yellow-label vehicles, and yellow-label vehicles from other provinces, autonomous regions, or municipalities entering restricted areas will also be fined and receive 3 penalty points.
