Imported new energy vehicles are subject to purchase tax. Pure Electric Vehicles: This type of vehicle uses a single battery as the energy storage power source. It utilizes the battery to store energy, providing electricity to the motor, which drives the vehicle. Hybrid Electric Vehicles: These vehicles have a drive system composed of two or more individual drive systems that can operate simultaneously. The driving power is provided by either a single drive system or multiple drive systems, depending on the actual driving conditions. Other New Energy Vehicles: This category includes vehicles that use high-efficiency energy storage devices such as supercapacitors and flywheels. Currently, in China, new energy vehicles mainly refer to pure electric vehicles, extended-range electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, and fuel cell electric vehicles. Conventional hybrid vehicles are classified as energy-saving vehicles.
