Are company-owned vehicles scrapped after 15 years?

Company-owned vehicles are not scrapped after 15 years, but they must undergo regular annual inspections, otherwise they will be forcibly scrapped. The scrapping time for vehicles registered under a company name is the same as that for private cars. Private cars no longer have a scrapping age limit. However, for vehicles converted from commercial to non-commercial use, they must be scrapped after eight years, not 15. Vehicle scrapping standards: Starting from May 1, 2013, China has revised the scrapping regulations for private cars. Private cars are no longer scrapped based on age but are forcibly scrapped when they reach a maximum mileage of 600,000 kilometers. In other words, no matter how many years a private car has been owned, once it reaches 600,000 kilometers, it must be scrapped, even if it has only been driven for five years. Private car inspection standards: According to the latest private car inspection standards in China, small and micro non-operational passenger vehicles can enjoy an exemption from inspection for the first six years, requiring only a biennial visit to the vehicle management office to collect the inspection compliance label. After six years, the vehicle must be inspected annually. After 15 years, the vehicle must be inspected every six months, as long as it has not exceeded 600,000 kilometers. In this case, the vehicle can continue to be driven indefinitely.
